We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic professional who will inspire and support our staff to deliver high-quality, inclusive early years education and care. As a key leader in our setting, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a nurturing, stimulating, and engaging environment where children can thrive.
As the Lead Early Years Educator, you will:
- Lead and inspire a team to provide creative, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning opportunities.
- Model best practices, demonstrating sensitive and responsive interactions that extend children’s learning.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
- Support the nursery management team in delivering outstanding care and education in line with our policies and procedures.
- Take responsibility for curriculum planning, ensuring activities align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Oversee the setting in the absence of the Assistant Manager and Manager.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare (or equivalent).
- Post-qualification experience in early years education and childcare.
- A strong understanding of child development, curriculum planning, and inclusive practices.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Code of Practice, safeguarding procedures, and equality and diversity policies.
