We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Graphic Designer to join our marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role involves delivering a wide spectrum of design projects across various mediums including social media, print, and exhibitions. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, adept at managing tight deadlines, and capable of working under pressure both independently and under direction.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Create high-quality design work to meet demanding deadlines.
  • Manage and maintain the marketing and design collateral shared library, ensuring a clear and accessible filing system.
  • Take project ownership, liaising with the Marketing Director and team to produce spec sheets, user guides, tenders, email campaigns, and presentations that strengthen the brand.
  • Design engaging social media posts and maintain an up-to-date overview of the Marketing team’s workflow using Microsoft Planner.
  • Resolve issues related to work produced and support team members with problem-solving as needed.
  • Ensure all artwork produced aligns with the needs, requirements, and brand values of the organisation.
  • Continuously generate creative ideas to enhance both print and digital marketing designs, staying informed on industry trends.
  • Maintain consistency in brand and image across all internal and external materials, both online and offline.
  • Attend courses to further knowledge and expertise in relevant fields.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Extensive industry experience and relevant qualifications (e.g., HND/BA in Graphic Design).
  • Proficiency in the full creative process from initial brief to launch and delivery.
  • Experience with a range of creative offline and digital projects, including website image development and digital campaigns.
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft programs.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms as marketing tools.
  • Enthusiasm for design and marketing, coupled with a proactive work attitude.
  • Keen to learn and develop new skills, staying up to date with the latest design trends.
  • Confidence in presenting work to the wider team.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with a variety of projects.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with robust design, layout, and typographic skills.
