As a Warehouse Operative for Ocado Logistics, you are at the heart of preparing orders for customers. Pick a career packed with opportunities at our warehouse in Dordon, Tamworth. We’ve got many shift options available, including four 10-hour shifts, so you can enjoy three days off each week!

Description:

You’ll be picking and packing customer orders into shopping totes. A process that requires you to handle goods with care.

You'll be receiving goods from suppliers and decanting products into totes. A process that requires you to be accurate and pay attention to detail.

Days Shifts:

06:00 -15:00

06:00 - 16:00

Nights Shifts:

18:00 - 06:00

18:00 - 06:00

You'll be working in a state-of-the-art warehouse preparing orders for customers.

Day-to-day, your tasks will involve picking and packing customer orders in both ambient (room temperature) and chilled (0-5?) environments.

Things to consider:

  • We have both ambient and chill (0 to 5?) sections in our warehouse and you will be expected to work in both.

  • Our roles require you to be on your feet and mobile at all times as well as carrying out repetitive tasks and potentially lifting up to 25kg weights.

  • You will be required to handle both meat and alcohol products.

  • We will provide you with great training and the correct Personal Protective Equipment.

Salary: £11.87 up to £18.61 per hour with our premiums and overtime rate

  • Starting rate - £11.87 per hour

  • Night shift premium (between the hours of midnight and 6am) - plus £2.67 per hour

  • Performance based incentives available when targets are met

  • Overtime paid at basic x 1.25Starting rate - £11.78 per hour
