Job Description:As a HLTA, you will work across all year groups, collaborating with teachers to plan and deliver high-quality learning activities. Your role will include providing targeted support to students, delivering PE lessons, and managing classroom behaviour to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Working closely with teachers to plan and deliver lessons.
- Providing targeted support to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Delivering PE lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Collaborating with teachers to support students with additional needs.
- Contributing to school policies and practices.
The successful candidate will have:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience as an HLTA or in an educational role.
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
