Position: Registered Manager - Children and Young People's Service

Location: Erith

Salary: 65,000 plus up to 10,000 performance bonus

As a Registered Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in establishing and overseeing our client's inaugural home, catering to young people aged 8 - 17 with Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs (SEMH), including those with mild Learning Disabilities (MLD). Located in the vibrant community of Erith you'll lead with compassion, expertise, and dedication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the registration process with Ofsted, contributing significantly to recruitment, systems, and policy development.
  • Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and support.
  • Provide visionary leadership and mentorship to our team members.
  • Develop and implement robust care plans and risk assessments, prioritising the safety and well-being of our residents.
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted and Local Authority regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven leadership experience within a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rated children's home.
  • Familiarity with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding protocols.
  • Strong organisational prowess and ability to manage daily operations effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a resilient and proactive approach to problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a similar setting and managing Ofsted inspections.
  • Commitment to obtaining or possessing the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
  • Full UK driving license preferred.
  • Passion for positively impacting the lives of young people.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
