About the Role
As a Senior Staff Nurse in the Renal Department, you will:
  1. Take on the role of Nurse in Charge, stepping in as deputy for the Clinic Manager when required.
  2. Mentor and empower your team, sharing knowledge and fostering professional growth.
  3. Lead care programs for renal patients, conducting assessments and tailoring treatments to their needs.
  4. Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism.
  5. Operate and maintain dialysis machines, ensuring clinic procedures are followed.
  6. Engage patients in pre- and post-dialysis care reviews.
  7. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service enhancements.
What Were Looking For
To succeed in this role, youll need:
  1. NMC Registration as a General Nurse (or expected qualification by early 2024).
  2. A minimum of 2 years experience in a renal dialysis setting.
  3. Strong understanding of the NMC code of professional conduct.
  4. Confidence to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  5. A proactive, positive approach to delivering safe and effective care.
  6. Excellent communication skills in English.
