Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced SCCM/WSUS Design SME to join a dynamic Modern Workplace Solution Implementation team supporting a major public sector client undergoing a large-scale IT transformation. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders, helping shape the Modern Workplace transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement enterprise solutions, ensuring the production of high-quality design documentation such as high-level and low-level designs, installation guides, operational guides, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to support the Modern Workplace transformation.
- Develop and maintain Software Distribution solutions on a medium to large scale.
- Utilize expert knowledge to drive configuration, deployment, and management within enterprise environments.
Essential Expertise:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Service Design, particularly within enterprise solution design.
- In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with:
- SCCM Current Branch for configuration management.
- App-V for packaging and distribution, both standalone and integrated.
- VDI Gold Image creation and management.
- Office suite deployment and management (Office 2013, 2016, O365).
- WSUS.
- OSD/MDT (Operating System Deployment).
- Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, and Windows 10 - for building, configuration, and deployment.
- SQL, including authoring complex queries.
