Our client is seeking an experienced individual with good practical knowledge of garden power equipment such as petrol and battery-operated lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, brush cutters and chainsaws to join the company and be an integral part of the after-sales service team.

The successful candidate will have proven technical knowledge within the garden machinery sector with the ability to carry out warranty repairson the company products.

We are seeking a multi-talented, hands-on, hardworking individual to fulfil this important role.

Product Repairs responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs/testing for different categories of garden tools(eg, battery powered ride on mower, robotic lawnmowers, petrol and electrical equipment)
  • Effective processing of all warranty repairs from receipt to dispatch.
  • Identifying common faults and consistently applying relevant solutions to prevent product returns.
  • Close communication with the aftersales team and providing related information & technical support.
  • Assist in other areas of the workshop and spare parts dept, as required.

Experience/Skills required:

  • Technically minded
  • Ability to learn new skills (inhouse training provided)
  • Mechanical engineering qualifications or working background would be an advantage
  • Excellent communicator on all levels
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills
  • Forklift licence desirable, but not essential
  • Microsoft Office skills, previous experience with CRM systems
