Location: More Lane, Esher, KT10 8AN
Hours: Full-Time (Permanent) & Part-Time/Flexible – Applicants MUST be available to work evenings and weekends
Salary: Competitive + Uncapped Sales Commission on Merchandise

Our client, Daytona Sandown Park, is recruiting for Race Directors / Duty Managers. This exciting role involves managing race events and delivering an exceptional experience for customers.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Race Directing: Manage, monitor, and run race events, ensuring an entertaining and safe experience for customers.

  • Duty Management: Act as Duty Manager, overseeing the Track team, Front of House team, and customers in a professional and effective manner while on duty.

  • Customer Safety: Confidently conduct safety briefings for customers before race events.

  • Race Management: Enforce strict but fair race management from Race Control (training will be provided).

  • Event Coordination: Liaise with department heads to ensure events are executed to the highest standard.

  • System Familiarity: Be fully conversant with the company’s computer booking and timing systems.

  • Policy Adherence: Be knowledgeable about the Track Training Manual, NKA (National Karting Association) guidelines, and the Employee Handbook.

  • Team Training: Assist with the induction and training of new Track staff while supporting the ongoing development of the existing team in accordance with Company and Statutory requirements.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to lead by example, set high standards, and apply common sense and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong time management, people management, and organizational skills.

  • Enthusiastic and able to have fun while working.
