This full-time position requires a proactive and organised individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently.Key Responsibilities
  • Assign tasks to the housekeeper
  • Schedule event setups and clear downs
  • Manage school minibus bookings and driver training
  • Raise purchase orders and manage housekeeping stock
  • Oversee maintenance, repairs, and vendor work
  • Coordinate fire drills and emergency preparedness
  • Act as the first point of contact for emergency situations
  • Manage relationships with external contractors
  • Schedule estate compliance inspections and maintain records
  • Assist with general administrative tasks and procure goods/services
  • Chair weekly operational meetings and record minutes
  • Manage security and visitor admissions
THE PERSON:
  • Proven experience in a busy office environment
  • Strong foundation in English and Maths (minimum GCSE level)
  • Excellent organisation, time management, and IT skills
  • Ability to prioritise, remain calm under pressure, and adapt to changing demands
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional, friendly, and helpful demeanour
  • Experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential
