A close knit, multi disciplinary consultancy in Surrey are seeking a smart Assistant Building Surveyor with an eagerness to achieve MRICS and build a long term career in a fast paced environment.

The Assistant Building Surveyors role

The team in Surrey is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Building Surveyor who is eager to support complex projects and gain training and experience from Senior Building Surveyors in the following areas:

  • Preparing reports on condition, defect repairs and maintenance plans
  • Prepare and serve party wall notices and awards
  • Project management and administer contracts on repair and refurb projects

Project wise, the successful Assistant Building Surveyor will mainly be working on luxury, high end residential properties, as well as some important housing association schemes.

The Assistant Building Surveyor

  • Completed a Building Surveying or Construction (RICS accredited) degree
  • Around 12 (or more) months experience as a Building Surveyor
  • Any UK residential project experience would be a plus
  • Eager to achieve MRICS
  • Driving licence would be ideal
