Ribbons & Reeves are looking for a motivated and dedicated Academic Mentor to join one of our partner secondary schools in Esher, Surrey. Starting in November 2024 until July 2025, this role is ideal for graduates or individuals with tutoring or mentoring experience who are passionate about supporting students' academic progress.

Academic Mentor | Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing 1:1 and small group academic support to students across various subjects

  • Working closely with teachers to monitor student progress and adapt support as needed
  • Assisting with the delivery of catch-up programs for students who may have fallen behind
 
Academic Mentor | Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • A 1st Class or 2:1 Degree from a UK university is preferred
  • Previous tutoring or mentoring experience.
  • Strong subject knowledge in core subjects (e.g., English, Maths, Science) is beneficial
  • A compassionate, patient, and student-centred approach to supporting learners
  • Enthusiasm to contribute to the school’s wider academic programs and extracurricular activities
