Location:Esher (Hybrid 4 days in the office, 1 day from home)
Salary:£50,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the companys financial services processes, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction. This role will involve managing a team of operations professionals, implementing operational strategies, and driving improvements across key business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:Lead the operational functions of the business, including process optimisation, workflow management, and developing and implementing operational strategies.
- Team Leadership:Manage and mentor a team of operational staff, ensuring effective collaboration, performance monitoring, and professional development.
- Process Improvement:Identify areas for operational efficiency improvements, develop new procedures, and streamline existing processes to enhance productivity and service quality.
- Compliance & Risk Management:Ensure all operations comply with relevant financial regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Proactively manage operational risks and resolve issues as they arise.
- Client Service & Satisfaction:Oversee client-facing processes, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and client satisfaction across all operational touchpoints.
- Reporting & Analytics:Prepare and present regular operational performance reports, including key metrics and analysis, to senior management. Make recommendations based on data insights.
- Technology Implementation:Work closely with IT teams to ensure smooth integration of technology solutions and systems to improve operational workflows and efficiencies.
- Budget & Resource Management:Monitor operational budgets and resources, ensuring the team operates within allocated budgets while maintaining service quality.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education:Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISI, CFA) are a plus.
- Experience:At least 5-7 years in an operations role within financial services, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Leadership:Proven experience in leading and developing teams with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in operational reporting and process improvement.
- Knowledge:In-depth knowledge of financial services regulations, operational workflows, and compliance requirements.
- Attention to Detail:Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Adaptability:Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle change effectively.
