You will become a valued member of a team and work alongside others with the same integrity and goals. The role will be hands on, leading a region of around 30 stores in Surrey.
Key areas YOU can make an impact
- Reviewing all store layouts to be more commercial and relevant to the local community.
- Developing more premium stores and setting up outlets stores to sell through product in a more profitable way.
- Review of store structure and team development to deliver best in class experience on the high street.
- Review of stock movement and how we get the right stock in the right place to drive sales.
- Communication and motivation for all retail teams, set the clear vision and bring the team on the journey.
- Operations, best practise for stores to be more productive. Developing a strong operations team to support this.
- Review of all ways of working and how we collaborate and work together as one team.
- New opportunity in the long term- Ecom, Bought product & superstores
- Review of CAPEX and investment to get better ROI,
- Working with the property agent to review stores profile, new store opportunity and long-term growth.
- Partnering with the other departments in the hospice to ensure retail has a voice.
Your experience
- Proven successful track record in retail management at head of retail or retail director level.
- A strong understanding of high street retail (ideally fashion or Charity)
- Achievement of sales and profit targets
- Experience of performance management
- Entrepreneurial spirt, commercial, strong communicator and empathetic
