About
This company delivers planned preventative and reactive maintenance services to commercial property clients across London and the southeast of England. Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Slough, reporting directly to the Business Development Director.

Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and strengthening our market position. Your primary responsibility will be identifying new business opportunities, securing profitable contracts, building and nurturing client relationships, and supporting competitive tendering processes.



Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and create opportunities at an operational level.
  • Take full ownership of achieving personal sales targets.
  • Generate leads and manage the end-to-end sales process, from bid preparation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Engage with end-users, facilities managers, customer managing agents, and specifiers to promote our services.
  • Negotiate with stakeholders at both operational and board levels.
  • Develop and maintain a robust network within the market to foster new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Estimating Team and internal colleagues to ensure efficient enquiry processing.
  • Conduct site surveys to assess M&E services and assets, preparing accurate schedules for pricing with the Estimating Team.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals and tender responses in conjunction with team members.

  • Proven success in sales prospecting and client development, with a track record of generating revenue.
  • Exceptional workload management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.

  • Proficiency in IT, particularly with MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
