Our client is looking for a Field Service Generator Engineer with an electrical bias to join their team of engineers.
Responsibilities for the Field Service Generator Engineer
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on power generation products in the field, adhering to documented standards and schedules.
• Escalate issues to product specialists or supervisors for further assistance.
• Complete necessary documentation, including service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents, either via handwritten forms or input screens.
• Undertake training to improve skills and meet business requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of service vehicle and tools.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, reporting any incidents to site management and supervisors.
• Work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate accurate fault diagnosis in power generation products.
• Ensure timely completion of service documentation.
• Identify upsell opportunities to customers, documenting rejected opportunities before customer signature on service worksheets.
Qualifications for the Field Service Generator Maintenance Specialist
- Experience diagnosing and repairing of Power Generation equipment.
- Mechanical / Electrical experience.
- 18th Edition Electrical qualification preferred.
- 2391
- Electrical Theory and Troubleshooting.
- Ideally City & Guilds or equivalent or apprentice trained electrical engineering.
- Driving licence (reasonably clean)
