Credit Underwriter - Loans - Windsor - Up to £32k basic - OTE £40k+
Hours of work – 9am – 5.30pm – short walk from Windsor station

As a Credit Underwriter you will play a key role in evaluating the financial status of business loan applicants, determining the risk of lending to them, and making recommendations based on findings.

Job role of the Credit Underwriter:
- Evaluate creditworthiness and risks of business loan applications
- Utilise financial and credit data, market trends, and industry data to assess risk
- Contact the applicant to discuss findings during the underwriting process
- Effectively extract the necessary information from the client.
- Maintain an understanding of and comply with all relevant lending regulations
- Prepare and present loan recommendations to the risk committee
- Collaborate with Business Development Managers as well as applicants to obtain necessary information and resolve any issues with applications.
- Provide excellent customer service to customers
Who/what are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis tools
- Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
