SENIOR SYSTEMS INTEGRATION ENGINEER (RAIL) - LONDON or BIRMINGHAM considered - PERMANENT - 47,450 - 80,760
ARM is working major rail client and we are currently recruiting for a pivotal role for a Senior Systems Integration Engineer within railway systems on a permanent basis in either Birmingham or London.
About You:
You will be a degree educated engineer with extensive experience within railway systems integration.
You will ideally be chartered or working towards chartership or similar professional accreditation.
You will a good understanding of railways as a whole, rather than one area.
Ideally your experience will stem from client side working or within a consultancy providing this service to them.
What you will be doing:
This is a key position within the organisation and has come about from lessons learned on other large scale railway projects and the need to ensure that the whole railway integrates with all elements. Your role will be to highlight concerns with contractors own declared assurance and that expected. Understanding the whole picture and how this will then integrate with other railway systems or the impact a slight change may have on the end product. The role will own the Systems Requirements Specifications for the programme of works and ultimately setting the scene for the end railway.
This position can be based from either London or Birmingham (depending on your preferred home office) and will be working using the hybrid method with 2 days a week in the office and 3 working from home.

The salary range for this position is dependent on location and experience. For Birmingham the range is between 56,940 and 71,160 and for London the range is between 64,620 and 80,760.
