As a Finance Assistant, you will:

  • Lead the purchase order approval process and assist with goods receipting.
  • Resolve purchase order queries.
  • Collaborate with department heads to monitor cost controls.
  • Build strong relationships with internal customers
  • Understand cash flow implications and work closely with the accountant.
  • Accurately code responsibilities and maintain SOX compliance.
  • Prepare monthly SOX audit data and support annual statutory audits.
  • Participate in stock takes and provide general administrative support.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in administrative or finance roles, ideally in a purchase ledger environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to foster productive relationships.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic accounting software.
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance and audit processes.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector.
