Class 1 Driver Nights
Location: Evesham
Salary: £16.00 - £22.00 per hour
What We Offer:
- Shift Pattern: Ideal shift pattern is 4on/4off, but we're open to discussing fixed patterns to ensure night shifts are covered.
- Start Times: Average start time is 21:00, with flexibility between 20:00 and 22:00.
- Shift Length: Expect average shifts of 11-12 hours, delivering into distribution centres. Some deliveries will require self-tipping and breaking down pallets.
Driver Assessment & Induction Process: All drivers put forward will need to undergo an initial assessment. This includes:
- Theory papers on drivers' hours and road regulations.
- A 1-hour on-the-road driving assessment.
This entire process will take around 2 to 2.5 hours. If successful, drivers will be invited to a full induction day (approx. 8 hours), which covers:
- Company induction.
- Safe systems of work.
- Health & Safety.
- Company systems and processes.
After completing the induction, you're ready to hit the road! If you prefer, you can buddy up with an experienced driver for your first shift, or if you're confident, you can go solo.
Requirements:
•Minimum 12 months experience
• Current valid CPC and tacho cards.
• No more than 6 points (Including no IN or DR)
