Live in available - busy high street location in tourist area. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. We are in a great location, a busy tourist high street, with plenty of scope for you to further your creativity in pastry between our summer space and winter snug areas. We've also got a busy brasserie where you can use your talents to create new ideas and develop menus.
The ideal person will have:
- Strong proficiency in Pastry, with the ability to be multi-skilled throughout the kitchen
- Assisting the Head Chef with menu ideas
- Managing the pastry sections
- Providing training to junior members of the team
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4-5 years of Pastry rosette experience
- Previous experience in a similar position in a rosette kitchen
- Strong skills in Pastry, with the advantage of being multi-skilled throughout the kitchen
Benefits:
- Salary up to £38,000 per year
- Salary increase to £39,000 per annum after 3-month probation
- Tips paid monthly (circa 3k+ per annum)
- 5-day work week
- Weekly pay, working 1-week in arrears
