About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organizedQuality Control Controllerto join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all poultry products meet our rigorous standards of quality and compliance. This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Pay Rate:£12.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
Location:Evesham
Hours:Monday-Thursday 06:00am-15:00pm Friday-06:00am-12:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection & Testing:Conduct inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Documentation:Accurately document inspection results, test data, and any non-conformities in line with company protocols and quality assurance systems.
• Compliance:Ensure that products comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Problem-Solving:Identify and report any quality issues, collaborate with the production team to address defects, and recommend corrective actions.
• Calibration:Maintain and calibrate quality control equipment to ensure precise and reliable measurements.
• Continuous Improvement:Participate in quality improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements to improve overall product quality and efficiency.
• Audits:Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

• Previous experience in a quality control or similar role.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and industry standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle discrepancies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and teamwork.
• Proficiency with quality control tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)

Desirable:

• Relevant certifications in quality assurance or related fields.
• Familiarity with ISO standards or other quality management systems.
