Role Overview:
As a Private Client Legal Assistant, you will support the Private Client department, assisting fee earners with key legal and administrative tasks to ensure seamless case progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft & Prepare Legal Documents – Wills, probate and estate administration paperwork
- Client Correspondence – Provide a professional and friendly service
- File & Case Management – Maintain accurate records, open/close case files and ensure compliance
- Third-Party Liaison – Communicate with banks, executors and key stakeholders
- Diary & Appointment Management – Schedule meetings for fee earners
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Administrator (preferably within a Private Client department)
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Proficiency with legal case management software & Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of wills, probate and estate administration processes (advantageous)
