To complement our existing Boards at Rooftop Housing Group, we are looking for two new members with strategic mindsets and an ability to work with our Executive Team to demonstrate the highest standards of governance and sound decision-making principles for the benefit of our customers.

Recently rated by the Regulator of Social Housing as a G1/V2/C2 compliant organisation, we have demonstrated our ability to operate as a high performing and reliable business, offering housing, accommodation and support to people in Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.

Non-Executive Director (1), we are particularly interested in applicants who may have experience of:

  • Treasury management
  • Financial management
  • Internal Audit and Audit/Risk Committees

Non-Executive Director (2), we are particularly interested in applicants who may have experience of:

  • Senior management level in a commercial organisation
  • Management of Health and Safety
  • Customer service
  • Consumer regulation

For both roles, experience of cultural/organisational change and/or employee engagement and satisfaction would also be of interest. An understanding of our communities and local issues could be an advantage.

Our Board meetings are held in person at our Head Office in Evesham but our committee meetings are via Microsoft Teams.

The role requires a standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for all new Members.

Allowance £5,067 (an average of approximately 20 hours each month)
