Sonic Summary

An experienced plumber is required for a planned preventative maintenance programme, with the role initially lasting 3 months and potential for permanence.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of continuous residency in the UK and possess a full driving licence and appropriate trade qualifications.
The position offers a salary of £XX, with 32 days of holiday per year and a 39-hour work week, including 1 in 3 weekends.
Responsibilities include routine maintenance, fault finding, inspections, and ensuring all works comply with safety standards.
Technical competencies required include a Gas Safe registration card and experience with the Maximo maintenance system or similar.

Plumber Required

We are looking for an experienced plumber to work on a planned preventative maintenance programme ensuring it is complete in line with specifications and work packages. The role is initially for 3 months with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

32 days holiday per year

39 hours per week, 1 in 3 weekends with rest days provided

Responsibilities:

Routine and non-routine maintenance
Fault finding
Identification of life-expired equipment
Check, repair, and make good faults and life-expired equipment
Inspections, water sampling, and risk assessment
Mains water supply repairs
Ensure all works are carried out to the highest safety standards and to agreed method statements
Minimise wastage and continually improve processes
Ensure statutory works are carried out on time and that work is compliant
This role may include working at height and in all weather conditions.

Qualifications:

Full driving licence
Appropriate trade qualification

Experience:

Maximo maintenance system experience or similar package
Experience in operating light plant

Technical Competencies:

Gas Safe registration card
Legionella Control (L8)

Role Specific Requirements:

Required checks EL1 or EL2
Due to security vetting, candidates must have at least 3 years of continuous residency within the UK.
