Flourish Education are recruiting a Primary Teacher to work in a year 4 class at a primary school in Evesham on a full-time basis. This role is to cover the class Teacher who will be going off on maternity leave from January.
The role is ongoing until the summer holidays in July 2025. This role will include full class teaching responsibilities, including planning are preparing lessons and marking work.
Our client is a one-form entry primary school, they have a great local community and the primary school is very welcoming.
The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Primary Teacher to work within a year 4 class. The successful applicant will have an in-depth knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, and excellent behaviour management skills.
Responsibilities for the Primary Teacher role
- Teaching in a Year 4 class
- Working 5 days per week
- Full planning, marking and assessment required.
- Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
- Work with year group partner to plan lessons.
- Build relationships with the pupils, parents and staff.
- Attend CPD relevant to the role – whole staff and SLT meetings.
- Show secure subject knowledge to support learning
- Follow school policy regarding behaviour management systems
Required skills and experience for the Primary Teacher role
- Experience in teaching in KS2 (Key stage 2).
- Must have the relevant teacher status: QTS primary/ ECT's are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication skills.
- Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
- Previous Supply Teacher experience not required.
