Our client is looking for a Quality Technician to join their Engineering team in Evesham. This role involves assisting the lead engineer on all quality control matters, conducting inspections, and collaborating with various departments to maintain and improve product quality, experience in fabrication/welding is essential for this role. If you're a Quality technician/inspector looking to expand your experience, or an experienced welder looking for a step up into a Quality role this could be the perfect role for you.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support the Senior Quality Engineer and the quality team.
  • Conduct audits and quality inspections, analysing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Update and maintain the NCR Log.
  • Collaborate and build strong intercompany relationships with design, manufacturing, quality, and production teams in the UK, USA, China, and India to integrate quality standards into all stages of product development.
  • Identify and address quality issues and defects, providing technical support and facilitating corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including EN/ISO standards.
  • Promote quality awareness and compliance within the organisation.
  • Continuously monitor and improve quality assurance processes to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies preferable.
  • Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
