Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Worcestershire
Salary: 60,000 - 75,000, with an offer of a car package and mileage expenses
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team in Worcestershire. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a skilled professional with extensive experience in the new build bespoke housing sector, looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the cost management of new build bespoke housing projects from inception to completion.
Prepare and manage detailed cost plans, budgets, and estimates.
Conduct accurate measurement and take-offs from drawings and specifications.
Liaise with the project team, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Assess and manage risk, ensuring that projects meet financial targets.
Review and negotiate subcontractor and supplier agreements.
Prepare tender documents and manage procurement processes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards throughout the project life cycle.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 5 years in a senior role, ideally within the Residential sector.
Strong understanding of cost management, procurement, and contract administration.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
A strong understanding of construction processes, project delivery, and industry standards.
Experience with measurement and costing software.
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or equivalent professional qualifications).
A full UK driving license is essential, as the role involves travel to various sites.
