About the RoleOur service supports four incredible individuals:
Each individual has unique needs, and two are non-verbal. The ideal candidate will adapt to various communication preferences and provide tailored support to ensure everyone’s well-being and dignity.
As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care and emotional support.
- Supporting individuals in attending appointments and engaging in activities.
- Encouraging independence through life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
- Building strong relationships with individuals, their families, and professionals.
- Facilitating activities like long walks, outdoor trips, and interactive hands-on learning.
No two days are the same! This role is as rewarding as it is diverse. You’ll have the privilege of supporting individuals to live their lives with choice, dignity, and independence.
About the TeamYou’ll join a close-knit team of five staff members, led by an experienced Team Leader and Manager. Our team is passionate, dedicated, and committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for both colleagues and service users. Most team members have been with us for years, bringing extensive experience to the role.
What We’re Looking ForWe are seeking someone who is:
- Experienced in supporting individuals with challenging behaviours (essential).
- Skilled in working with epilepsy (advantageous).
- Flexible to work weekends and evenings.
- Friendly, motivated, and committed to empowering others.
- A holder of a full UK manual driving license (essential).
