Mechanical and Avionic Technicians (Puma) Job Description

Location: RAF Benson Oxfordshire

Job Type: Contract, expected to work full-time hours

Primary Industry: Aerospace and Aviation

Job Duties:
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical and avionic systems on the Puma aircraft
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of aircraft components and systems
  • Follow technical manuals and engineering instructions to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve issues
  • Document all maintenance activities and report any findings to the relevant authorities
Required Qualifications:
  • Valid certification or qualification in aircraft maintenance engineering
  • Knowledge of mechanical and avionic systems in aircraft
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Education:
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
