Job Purpose
- Manage a varied audit portfolio, working closely with clients to conduct audit engagements from planning to completion.
- Undertake site visits at clients’ premises, supervising junior staff.
- Review the work of junior audit staff, providing constructive mentorship.
- Identify and implement processes to improve the efficiency of the audit function.
- Preparation of statutory accounts and corporation tax computations.
- Adopt a proactive approach to problem solving, being a trusted advisor for audit queries.
- Support business development for the firm, identifying new service lines for existing and potential clients.
- Set an example for the team as a natural leader.

Job Requirements?
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or part-qualified
- At least 2-3 years’ varied audit experience within practice.
- Working knowledge of FRS 120, FRS 105, and the Companies Act 2006.
- Corporation tax knowledge would be advantageous.
- Experience working with Charities is desirable.
- Previous supervisory experience, with good people management skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure.
- Committed to delivering the highest quality service.
- A team player who is eager to support the wider team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbally.
