My client is a very well-respected independent firm in the Exeter area. Joining their audit and corporate services team, your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Undertaking the completion of audits for small and medium size entities including charities and academies in accordance with the International Standards on Auditing.
  • Accurately completing assignments within agreed timescales.
  • Assisting in the mentoring and development of junior staff.

This role would suit a part or recently qualified ACA or ACCA, though consideration will also be given to excellent candidates who have not undergone formal qualifications. A very strong background in audit and statutory accounts preparation in an accountancy practice environment is essential, and you should also be a strong communicator with the ability to confidently liaise with your clients.
