Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Financial Accountant for a successful and reputable business based in Exeter. This is a fixed-term contract role for 12 months.
Reporting into the senior finance team, this is a very important role for the organisation and responsibilities will include:
- Review of financial controls and processes to maximise efficiency and productivity
- Development of process documentation, in line with compliance and best practice
- Work with other stakeholders in finance and non-finance in a business partnering capacity
- Assist with ERP system implementation, ensuring smooth integration and identifying any areas for improvement
- Regular testing of financial systems and provide training to finance team on any updates
- Work closely with external auditors, ensuring evidence for any changes made to controls
- Adherence to regulatory compliance at all times
The successful candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with excellent attention to detail and communication skills. You will have a strong understanding of financial processes and internal controls, and a pro-active mindset.
