We are currently partnering with a Local Authority in Devon, who are recruiting for an HRA Accountant to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
This is a full-time position with a salary band of £41,000 to £48,000 (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice. This position offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement with travel to the office required 2/3 days pe week.Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Providing timely and accurate financial advice, support and information to managers within the Housing Services Team
- Preparing and monitoring Council budgets and providing monthly reports to managers, Executive and Senior Leadership Teams
- Completing grant claims and statistical returns relating to Housing Service and Right to Buy data
- Assisting with support service recharges and service charges to tenants and ensured all necessary reconciliations are performed
- Supporting on the closure and production of the Council’s final accounts
- Dealing with all financial matters in relation to HRA
Experience required:
- CCAB qualification
- Previous experience in a HRA related position is highly desirable

- 37 hours per week
