We are working with a Local Authority to recruit for a Business Support Officer – Property Services. The candidate will work as part of a team of Business Support Officers covering general duties and individual work on assigned duties or for a specific area.

Rate: £16.95/hour, inside IR35 via Umbrella

Duration: 3 months FTC

Site Attendance:In office full time

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • To provide excellent administrative and business support to the Property Services team
  • Maintain and improve internal filing structures, with excellent diary management
  • To provide support to SLA Managers
  • Manage a demanding and reactive workload in a responsive way to ensure key objectives within Professional Services are met
  • Creating, maintaining and updating of documents and spreadsheets
  • Liaising with contractors/suppliers and providing feedback to clients e.g. outstanding work
  • Financial support duties include the raising of purchase orders and issuing of invoices, completing payment voucher payments, year-end processing

Experience:

  • Local Government experience is not essential but desirable
  • Background in property services is desirable
  • Confident with core IT systems such as Microsoft Office
