Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1/B2)/ Near Exeter Airport / Up to £55,000 per annumSyntech Recruitment is excited to partner with one of Europe's leading Maintenance Repair Organisations (MRO), operating from Exeter Airport. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1/B2) to join the team, working on a range of aircraft including Embraer E-Jets, Bombardier DH8/Q400, and ATR 42 & ATR 72 Series.

As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of safety and airworthiness while ensuring the timely completion of maintenance tasks on a variety of aircraft.Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing maintenance work of all levels on Embraer E-Jets, Bombardier DH8/Q400, and ATR 42 & 72 Series aircraft in accordance with prescribed airworthiness standards.
  • Carrying out duties as assigned by the Check/Zonal Leader, ensuring all work is completed on schedule and meets the customer's delivery requirements.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standard, guaranteeing the safety of the aircraft at all times.
  • Using the available IT systems to log completed work as directed by the department.
  • Recording all work performed on the appropriate paperwork and signing off on a progressive basis.
  • Ensuring proper use and control of aircraft parts and materials.

Essential Requirements:

  • Hold a current EASA Part 66 B1/B2 Licence with relevant type ratings for Embraer, Bombardier Q400, or ATR aircraft.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working on Embraer, Q400, or ATR aircraft.
  • Proficiency with MRO computer systems.
  • Ability to interpret and comply with repair instructions from technical manuals.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to pass a 5-year security background check.
  • Eligible to live and work in the United Kingdom without restriction.
