Are you a Multi-Skilled Installation Engineer, eager to work on the most exciting projects in the South-West?

Then our client wants to hear from you!

Our client is a leader in providing premium building service solutions to top food manufacturers and distributors in the Southwest of England. Additionally, their renewable division offers low-carbon heating and cooling solutions to both commercial and domestic customers.

You will have experience in various installation environments and be comfortable handling project requirements such as air handling, ventilation, plumbing, fabric, steel structures, compressed air, and equipment installations.

You should be a team player who is eager to collaborate to complete projects and achieve company goals.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Experience in a multi-skilled installation environment, preferably within food manufacturing
  • Plumbing and refrigeration experience is advantageous
  • Mechanically biassed with a strong technical understanding and problem-solving mindset
  • Organised with the ability to handle various project-build aspects
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good communicator, written and verbal
  • HNC qualification
  • IPAF certification
  • Full UK driving licence

What will your role look like?

  • Perform installations across various systems including air handling, ventilation, plumbing, fabric, steel structures, compressed air, and equipment
  • Interpret construction drawings and specifications to plan and execute building activities
  • Maintain high technical standards and a strong attention to detail
  • Travel to different sites based in and around Exeter, with occasional overnight stays required
