Remediation Engineer | 35,000 | Exeter

A new opportunity has arisen in the Exeter area. My client is a well-established family run environmental services company, known for working on a wide range of innovative projects.

We are looking for a skilled Remediation Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will be involved in managing and executing environmental remediation projects, including site assessments, risk assessments, and implementing effective remedial solutions for contaminated land sites.

Your role as the Remediation Engineer will involve:

  • Conducting site investigations and assessments of contaminated land
  • Designing and implementing remediation strategies
  • Liaising with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders
  • Managing environmental health and safety requirements on site
  • Preparing technical reports and project documentation
  • Mentoring and guiding junior engineers

While you'll have the chance to mentor junior staff, you will also receive ongoing training and professional development to support your career growth.

Essential Requirements:

  • A degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Geoscience, or a related field
  • Experience in environmental remediation or contaminated land projects
  • Knowledge of relevant UK environmental regulations
