Our client, a long-standing and reputable organisation, is looking to hire a Commercial Business Analyst to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to develop your career within a successful and forward-thinking company.
As the Commercial Business Analyst, you will assume a key position, supporting and delivering strategic reporting, conducting product pricing analyses, overseeing data systems management, developing performance dashboards, and spearheading assigned projects.
The responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with the Senior Management to provide critical support and drive business growth through precise reporting.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of the product portfolio, conduct pricing calculations, and perform margin reviews to optimise profitability.
- Oversee data management across key group systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Design and implement comprehensive dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
- Lead assigned projects, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Utilise advanced tools such as SQL, VBA, Power Query, and Power Pivot to streamline reporting processes and enhance data modeling capabilities.
- Identify and propose improvement opportunities that benefit global stakeholders and contribute to overall business performance.
The candidate:
- Possess previous experience as a Business/Data analyst in a commercial environment, with a proven track record of analysing complex data sets.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively address challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Exhibit robust analytical capabilities, leveraging data to inform strategic business decisions.
- Proficient with SQL, VBA, Power Query, and Power Pivot.
