Delivering goods and materials efficiently and safely to designated location within a set
timeframe.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Personal Qualities and Qualifications
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and customer authorisation and ensure all documentation is submitted to management on time
- Drive safely and follow all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Keep company vehicle clean and ensure it is well-maintained, has fuel, oil and is ready to drive
- Follow pre-planned route accurately without deviation from set course
- Assist in the warehouse duties as needed.
Personal Specifications:
- Previous Driving Experience
- Good Customer Service/communication Skills
- Ability to Work Under Pressure, Ability to Work in a Team or alone
- Be prepared to undertake physically demanding work
Qualifications and Certification:
- Driver's License, no more than 3 points.
- Have experience in van driving
Additional Information
Working Hours:Monday to Saturday (4 am Start amounting to no more than 50 hours a week)
Location:Exeter
Remuneration:£11.50 - £12.00 p/h
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Pay: £11.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
