- Carpentry: Utilise your carpentry skills to construct, install, repair, and maintain structures and fixtures such as doors, windows, furniture, and cabinetry.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to avoid breakdowns and ensure the longevity of facilities.
- Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations, ensuring minimal disruption to campus operations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing maintenance issues efficiently and effectively.
- Trade Qualification: Recognised qualification in carpentry (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds).
- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with staff, students, and contractors.
- Flexibility: Willingness to participate in an on-call rota and perform overtime as required.
