Set Approach and give Direction, and be the Voice of Authority on data, knowledge and information management - to lead implementation plans and inform/take decisions2. Articulate the data, knowledge and information elements of our enterprise design and why they matter within the context of the Met Office and its business aims3. Advocate and engage with key stakeholders to understand what is needed and what is possible and provide options and recommendations for agreed business outcomes, driving implementation plans where appropriate4. Lead a team of 9 specialists, with direct line management of 2 senior specialists5. Given the impact of interrupted direction and leadership, and the lack of pace of delivery, a pragmatic approach to achieving business outcomes is needed to work with others to make things happen.Experience:Experience in leading a team of specialists in KIM, in a complex organisation and in an uncertain and fast changing environment.
