Business Development Manager - DevonAre you an ambitious professional seeking to elevate your career to new heights? RGB Recruitment is collaborating with a reputable contractor to fill the role of Business Development Manager. This position involves developing new market leads and new business opportunities, identify new and strongly performing markets, engage with the key companies operating within these markets and secure opportunities to quote for and win new business. This contractor offers a wide range of new build and refurbishments schemes within Education, Health, Defence, Leisure and Hospitality. Responsibilities:
  • Finding leads to new work and chasing them down to create tender opportunities
  • Develop strategies for converting opportunities into profitable revenue
  • Ensure maximum attendance at events (dinners, lunches, award ceremonies, charity events, exhibitions etc
  • Develop a joined-up networking system of both face-to-face meetings and other channels such as social media  
  • Ability to develop strong and profitable relationships with key stakeholders and customers
  • Meet business secured workload targets
  • Maintain existing client portfolio through account management
  • Build relationships with Clients and Consultants to improve retention rate
Skills
  • Proven track record of business development and sales development within the construction industry
  • Exceptional communications – verbal, written, visual
  • Experience in SalesForce and Microsoft products
  • Comprehensive industry knowledge (regulatory, technical and competitor)
  • Relevant driving licence
