Are you a Civil or Structural Engineer who wants to work on interesting buildings and projects so diverse that there is little chance of getting stuck working on the same thing day after day?

Our client are an award winning, busy but friendly practice with a solid workload of historic projects, and a wide variety of other work in and around their Exeter office including rural parts of Devon.

Projects are genuinely varied and interesting and include historic buildings from Cob Cottages to Churches, as well as new and innovative sustainable construction will very little repetition.

Our clients work has even been featured on TV in "Grand Designs".

The Role:

  • Graduate Design Engineer
  • Using your Civil or Structural Engineering Degree on interesting Historic projects
  • Willingness to be thrown in to design work on a range of projects
  • Working on structural project involving Timber Construction
  • Working on projects like small domestic work and upward under the supervision of experienced Engineers and in support of them.
  • Using AutoCAD
  • Develop or utilise Hand drawing skills
  • Willingness to learn new and old techniques
  • Working on ecological sound projects.
  • Flexibility around working Hours
  • Paid Mileage for client visits

The Person:

  • BSc/BEng/MSc/MEng in civil and/or structural engineering
  • The ability to produce drawings in AutoCAD is essential
