My Client, a specialist Water Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Water Resources and Drought Consultant to join a team based in Exeter.

Applicants are required to have a BSc or MSc in a related discipline including Geography, Environmental Science or Environmental Management and vast have experience spanning Water Supply, Water Resource Assessments, Water Resource Planning and Drought Response Plans.

Candidates are required to have experience of drought response and drought management plans.

You will also be required to have a valid driving licence to drive to sites and to the office, when needed.

As a Principal Water Resource and Drought Consultant, you will have the opportunity to manage a team, mentor team members, manage projects and complete and check varied Water Resources, Water Quality, Pollution and Drought Plans.

You will be expected to;

-Lead Water Resource and Drought Planning and implementation of strategies ensuring compliance.

-Drought management and drought response plans.

-Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of drought management strategies.

-Assess and monitor performance of water resource management plans.

-Lead implementation of drought plans and monitor performance.

-Audits and annual reviews of strategies.

-Ensure water resource planning is aligned with catchment and water network strategies.

-Water Supply Risk Assessments.

-Develop relationships with stakeholders and external organisations.

-Produce bids, tenders and compelling business cases.

-Site visits across the local area.

You will also have the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis.
