Job Role: RC Detailer
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Benefits package
Location: Exeter - hybrid & flexible working arrangements available
Our client is looking for a talented and motivated RC Detailer to join their multi-disciplinary design team in Exeter, as part of a growing and dynamic department providing detailed designs for reinforced concrete structures in a range of UK infrastructure projects.

About the role:
By working on landmark projects and schemes of all shapes and sizes to help their clients tackle complex engineering challenges, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical and professional expertise. You will learn from experienced industry professionals who share a passion for working together with their customers to deliver high-quality, innovative projects.
You will:
- Prepare detailed reinforced concrete drawings and schedules for a variety of projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary Engineers to deliver solutions for complex structural designs.
- Actively contribute to the technical success of projects by creating precise RC detailing drawings, including rebar schedules and layout designs.
- Ensure detailing standards and quality of drawings meet project and client requirements.
- Work closely with senior colleagues to deliver detailed construction documentation.
- Take responsibility for the accuracy and quality of RC detailing outputs.
About you:
- Proven experience as an RC Detailer, with expertise in producing accurate reinforced concrete drawings and rebar detailing.
- Proficiency in detailing software such as AutoCAD and CADS RC or other relevant software.
- Experience working in a Common Data Environment (CDE) such as BIM360 is desirable but not essential.
- Solid understanding of UK building regulations and industry standards related to reinforced concrete structures.
- Ability to interpret structural drawings and specifications and work closely with engineers to ensure detailing is consistent with design intent.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
- A proactive and forward-thinking mindset, with the ability to manage your workload effectively and contribute to the improvement of detailing processes.
