My Client a leading engineering Design and Build consultancy have an immediate requirement for a Civil Design Engineer - Clean Water Treatment.

This contract opportunity is for a Civil Design Engineer or Senior Civil Design Engineer on an initial six month period with opportunity for extension. You would be engaged in the production of Civil engineering Designs, Calculations and specifications to construction standard for a range of clean water treatment projects including new builds and upgrades for a local Water utility company client. Working closely with CAD teams to enable production of 2D drawings and 3D models.

The role would involve site visits to assess current asset condition for feasibility studies, reports and to collate survey data for integration of the asset into the design Solution.

Applicants should be degree or HNC qualified in Civil engineering and be working at or towards Chartered or Incorporated status with a relevant awarding body. direct experience in the Water sector in the UK or overseas, on water and waste water treatment plant projects is required. Rates of pay dependant on skills and experience.

The post would be working Inside IR35 on either a PAYE or Umbrella contract with rates adjusted to cover costs. Role would required the successful applicant to be based in Exeter 2-3 days per week with other travel for site visits across the South West as required.
