Abatec is recruiting for an experienced freelance Site Engineer in the Exeter area. Our client is a regional contractor currently delivering a government-approved, Environment Agency (EA) backed, flood alleviation scheme and requires a Site Engineer with a background in Civil Engineering and previous pipeline experience.
As a Site Engineer you will:
- Have experience in Civil Engineering and Pipeline schemes
- Be the main source of technical advice and quality control.
- Provide levelling and surveying across site, checking drawings and quantities and ensuring the accuracy of calculations.
- Comply with the site-specific health and safety protocols to ensure any health and safety concerns are identified and reported as necessary.
Our client requires a Site Engineer with:
- Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations.
- A good understating of construction health & safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills.
- HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Understanding of AutoCAD
Salary and benefits include:
- 300 - 350 per day LTD
