Estimator - DevonAttention experienced construction Estimators! An exciting opportunity has just opened up with a regional contractor based in Devon. This contractor work across various sectors, including Student Accommodation, Defence, Education and Healthcare and are looking for an Estimator to join the team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for producing analytical cost estimates that reflect the programme, methodology and risks.Responsibilities:

Ensures all estimates are produced in accordance with the estimating department procedures
Researching, sourcing, negotiating and obtaining best prices
Analyse plans, bills of quantities and other project documentation in order to estimate costs
Manage and present estimating / tendering information, site visits to gather information required
Help identify the supply chain based on an informed and well developed understanding of the market
Oversee the management of the production of papers for use in tender reviews and adjudications
Assess the financial, technical and operational risks of the project
Report writing and record keeping

Skills:

Experience in a previous role required
Commercial project experience
Construction related degree desirable
Relevant driving licence
