Surveying Team ManagerVacancy, North Devon Based

Venn Group are currently recruiting for a Surveying Team Manager in the Barnstable area.

The job responsibilities will be to:

  • Providing technical surveys to establish building defects which may be used in court to defend disrepair claims.
  • Ensuring response repairs inspections are carried out in a timely manner and suitable repairs prescribed.
  • Ensuring planned maintenance works are managed from prestart through to valuation and works are properly inspected and signed off.
  • Ensuring void works are managed in an efficient manner.
  • Ensuring that the asset management database is maintained and kept up to date with stock condition data.
  • Ensuring communal re inspections are undertaken as required.
  • Closely overseeing the management of any ongoing repairs where there may be liability in terms of disrepair claims / insurance claims and or notices from environmental health.
  • Ensuring compliance with any building related legislation is being monitored and enforced e.g. fire safety, Legionella, HHSRS etc.
  • Damp Condensation and mould, assessment and treatment
  • Disrepair claims investigation and response
  • Stock Condition data collation and validation
